Q & A

First, THANK YOU for visiting and wanting to know more about VBLogic.

VBLogic started designing and building website 15 years ago. We also design and build Cisco networks. However, website design is 90% of what do do.

We are truly a one-stop shop for clients. This is why......

If you want a web presence, there are several things that are required before starting the design and build-out of your website. Here they are:

1. You will need to acquire your domain name, Example: acme.com. This is a domain name. Why is it required? Your domain name is like your home address. Without it, the post office would not know where to deliver your mail. Same concept. This is very simplified, but this is how the internet works.

2. You will need a web-hosting server to run your website on. It's like having Microsoft Word and you wish to use it to write documents. Well, everyone knows that you have to install Word on your computer at home for it to work.

Same thing with a website. The website is required to run on a web-server of some type, such as a Linux server or Windows server.

3. Are you wanting to sell items on the internet via your website? If so, you will need a credit card processing service to handle the payments for your merchandise and get you paid.

4. And, if you are selling items via your website, you will also need a State Sales Tax ID from your state comptrollers office. If you are shipping those items sold, you will most likely need an account setup with UPS, USPS, or FEDEX. All of this information will be entered into your shopping basket software on your website.

5. This is a lot of information to take into consideration, but it is not as bad as it seems. Take a day or two and get er done.

6. These are the things we will need before starting your design.

If you are not selling on the internet, piece of cake. You would just need to do steps 1 and 2.

Now, back to VBLogic Development. We have been here for a long time with many happy customers. We provide unlimited support at no additional cost. We will schedule a preliminary call with you and send you a check list of items to consider, prior to starting your project.

Our background and knowledge is invaluable and we will "hold your hands" until your website is exactly what you want.

Thanks again !!

Wes
